What did AI enable you to do in your film that would have been impossible—or unimaginable—without it?

4Eyes: AI allowed us to create a visually rich, symbol-heavy fantasy world in a fraction of the time it would have taken with traditional tools. Without it, realizing such a concept—with limited budget and cross-continent collaboration—would have been nearly impossible.

Did your vision for the film change once you started working with AI tools? If so, how?

4Eyes: Yes, once we saw what AI could generate, we started embracing more surreal and abstract imagery than originally planned. It shifted our approach from literal storytelling to something more metaphorical and poetic.

How did AI shape the emotional tone or atmosphere of your film? Was that an intentional choice or a surprise outcome?

4Eyes: It was a bit of both. We intentionally leaned into AI’s dreamy, ethereal quality, but we were still surprised by how emotionally resonant some of the results were—almost as if the system had its own subconscious.

Were there any limitations with current AI tools that you had to creatively work around?

4Eyes: Yes—maintaining continuity between shots, achieving precise angles, and designing specific movements were particularly difficult. We had to rethink how we could tell a story by embracing those imperfections rather than fighting them.

If you could re-do one part of your film with next-gen AI capabilities, what would you revisit—and why?

4Eyes: We would revisit the transitional sequences—moments that bridge one emotional beat to another. Next-gen tools could allow for smoother visual continuity and more dynamic emotional pacing between scenes.

What does winning the Meta Morph AI Film Award mean to you, especially at this moment in the evolution of storytelling technology?

4Eyes: Winning this award feels like a signal that our way of experimenting and storytelling through AI is part of a larger cultural shift. It gives us hope—not just for what's next in film, but for how technology can support more inclusive, boundary-free creativity.
